B/Fathima Muslim Ladies College have a length of long history over 14 years is considered as a school in Badulla District. It is a school started on 27.05.2009 under B/Al-Adhan Maha Vidhyalayam for women section. Grades 1-3 started on that date and 127 students were admitted. It is noteworthy that after the initial phase of the school, Umedha was started in a temporary hall, Pattari Asiri was the 1st principal and after her, Hairun Nisha was appointed as the principal.
After that the same students were taken up to grade 05 and after this new students were added to grade 09. Following this on 27.05.2011 a permanent site and building for the school was made available. Following this for the first time in the year 2015, the students appeared for the G.B.D based on that, all the students were selected for the higher standard and with these students in the G.Ed. It is noteworthy that they are studying.

2009.05.27ஆம் திகதி ப/அல்-அதான் மகா வித்தியாலத்தின் கீழ் மகளிர் பிரிவு க்காக ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட பாடசாலை ஆகும். அத் திகதியில் தரம் 1-3 வகுப்புக்கள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டதுடன் 127 மாணவர்கள் உள்வாங்கப்பட்டன. இப்பாடசாலையின் ஆரம்ப கட்டம் உமேடா தற்காலிகமான மண்டபத்தில் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட துடன் அதன் ஆரம்ப அதிபராக ஜனாபா பத்தாரி ஆசிரியையும் அவரை தொடர்ந்து ஜனாபh ஹைருன் நிஷா ஆசிரியையும் அதிபராக கடமையேற்றார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. அதனையடுத்து அதே மாணவர்கள் தரம் 5வரை கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டன இதனை தொடர்ந்து தரம் 9 புதிய மாணவர்கள் இணைத்து கொள்ளப்பட்டன. இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து 2011.05 27 பாடசாலைக்ககென நிரந்தரமான இடமும் கட்டிடமும் கிடைக்க பெற்றது. இதனை தொடர்ந்து முதல்முதலாக 2015 ஆண்டு க.பொ.த((சா/த)பரீட்சைக்கு மாணவர்கள் முகம் கொடுத்து சிறந்த சித்தி பெற்று அனைத்து பாடங்களிலும் 100%சித்தியினை பெற்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 2012 .08.03 ஆம் திகதி இறுமொழி பாடங்கள் நடாத்தப்பட்டது . அதன் அடிப்படையில் அம் மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் உயர் தரத்திற்கு தெரிவானதுடன் அம் மாணவர்களை கொண்டே க.பொ.த (உ/த) பிரிவில் கலை மற்றும் வர்த்தக பிரிவுகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.அதனை தொடர்ந்து 2017ஆம் ஆண்டு உயர்தத்தின் விஞ்ஞான பிரிவு ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.உயர்தத்தில் தோற்றிய மாணவர்களின் 90% மாணவர்கள் பல்கலைக்கழகம் மற்றும் கல்வியி கல்லூரிகளில் இன்று கல்வி பயின்று வருகின்றார்கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
